About Us
The Alternative Proteins Association (APA) is the largest association of its kind in Europe, designed to promote the value of alternative proteins in the UK.

The APA aims to tackle the challenges presented by food insecurity, climate change, the cost of living and intensive farming by helping the UK become a world leader in alternative proteins and inspiring collective action.
Mission-led
Taking inspiration from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and COVID-19 vaccination programmes, the APA is focused on simple but ambitious goals for the UK and alternative proteins industry which if achieved by 2030 will improve life for us all, for generations to come.
Background
Launched by Jeremy Coller and The Lord Sarfraz in March 2022, the Alternative Proteins Association is the largest association of its kind in Europe.
