We're thrilled to present our new best-practice guidance to help businesses and local authorities navigate taste trials of unauthorised novel foods in the UK.

Drawing on existing FSA/FSS guidance and experience from the Cell Cultivated Products (CCP) Sandbox Programme, the guidance offers practical recommendations for conducting taste trials safely, ethically and for genuine R&D purposes. This document was prepared in collaboration with businesses, local authorities, the FSA/FSS, and research institutes.
